Animefest 2026: The Brno Exhibition Centre will be taken over by Asian rock stars Rolling Quartz and Ash Da Hero.

The Brno Exhibition Centre will transform into a hub of Asian pop culture from May 22 to 24 over the weekend. The 21st edition of Animefest, the largest domestic event of its kind, will this year offer a unique musical experience. The highlight of Saturday's program will be exclusive concerts by the Korean rock band Rolling Quartz and the Japanese punk rockers ASH DA HERO. In addition to musical premieres, visitors can look forward to a traditional flood of cosplay, film premieres, martial arts, a rich lecture program, and exciting competitions.

Music in the Vineyards 2026: Record Number of Concerts and Two New Locations

The popular series of open-air concerts "Music in the Vineyards" has just completed a highly successful season, but the organizers are already announcing news for 2026. The seventh edition of the event will offer a record 69 concerts, the most in its history. Along with this, there will be an expanded range of performing artists and two brand new locations, of course linked to wine. The stage will feature annual favorites such as David Koller, Queenie, Čechomor, the duo Krhut & Kozub, Wohnout, Tros Discotequos, No Name, and many others. Additionally, Marie Rottrová, Olympic, Kateřina Marie Tichá, Kollárovci, and Tata Bojs will make their premieres in the vineyards.

The Bear Trail project, which is part of the Tree Top Walk in the Krkonoš Mountains in Janské Lázně, opened to the public on April 4, but it is not just about the return of the large predator. After the first weeks of operation, it also shows the most important thing – what a real bear home looks like today in a mountain forest environment and how the animals are gradually settling into their new surroundings.
