The largest Czech pop culture festival will return to Prague's O₂ universe for the eighth time. Comic-Con Prague 2027 will take place from April 16 to 18, 2027, and will offer three days full of movies, series, sci-fi, fantasy, comics, games, and meetings with domestic and international guests. The organizers are now revealing the first stars of next year's edition and also announcing several novelties, including the expansion of festival spaces and a new limited HERO ticket category.

An established holiday not only for comics is heading to Brno for the fifth time! Comic-Con Brno & Junior will take place from November 13 to 15, 2026, at the Brno Exhibition Centre and will traditionally offer three days full of domestic and international stars, pop culture, sci-fi, fantasy, games, books, and other entertainment for the whole family. The organizers are also behind the largest Czech pop culture festival, Comic-Con Prague, which welcomed over 28,000 visitors this year at the Prague O2 universe. The program will once again include the popular book fair Kniha Brno.

The exhibition "The Přemyslids. The Royal Dynasty and Its Era" is the main exhibition project of the National Museum for the year 2026 and is also one of the key cultural events of the year in both the Czech and Central European context. Prague Zoo welcomes new additions outside of its Troja area as well. After two Przewalski's horse foals born in the Gobi exhibit, a colt has also been born at Dívčí hrady. For the very first time, the herd of European bison in Prague's Dolní Počernice has expanded. These largest land mammals in Europe, which nearly went extinct in the past, have only inhabited the spacious enclosure since last autumn. Visitors have the best chance of seeing the calf around ten to eleven o'clock in the morning.
