Traditionally, on Czech Statehood Day, Zoo Prague celebrates the anniversary of its opening – this time with the number 95! For Monday, September 28, the zoo has prepared a festive program in the presence of special guests. Costumes, historical vehicles, and stylish newsboys distributing period newspapers will transport the entire garden back to the 1930s. Interested visitors can have their hairstyles done for free in the style of that era and dance to the music of a live swing band. Visitors who arrive at the celebration in themed outfits will also receive a small gift. The program will also include presentations of new attractions and the opening of an exhibition celebrating 95 years of Zoo Prague. There will be popular sea lion training sessions, as well as commented feedings and meetings with the animals that were part of the beginnings of the Prague zoo: wolves, lions, and elephants.

The Moravian Gallery presents another initiative from the series of contemporary fashion exhibitions. Following the projects of Liběna Rochová, Jan Černý, and Lukáš Macháček, it introduces a retrospective exhibition titled Bonsoir, Audrey! by Slovak fashion designer Boris Kráľ. For the first time, the Fashion 2000+ hall at the Museum of Applied Arts (dedicated to the exhibition of the developing collection of contemporary Czech fashion) will be devoted to a solo show. The young creator has transformed it into a distinctive installation combining fashion design and photography. On a mechanical runway, he will showcase the most significant models from his shows, from Salon de Nuit to the latest collection presented at the Expo 58 pavilion this June in Prague. The exhibition also includes a collection of behind-the-scenes photographs from the designer's shows, taken by Lena Knappova. Boris Kráľ. Housing in the spotlight: The Film and Architecture Festival presents films that inspire and warn.
Under the motto To Be or Not to Be, the 15th edition of the Film and Architecture Festival will present an extraordinary collection of films that explore housing from various angles. From Wednesday, September 30 to Monday, October 5, 2026, it will visit Prague, Brno, and more than thirty other cities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The program will highlight different visions of residents, architects, politicians, and developers regarding the shape of cities and will introduce visionaries who have challenged established concepts of architecture and housing. It will also focus on how the environment around us influences our psyche and interpersonal relationships. "This year's theme touches each of us, so we wanted to create a program that appeals to the widest possible audience. The individual films use diverse filmmaking approaches and capture not only the final appearance of buildings but also the ideas and decisions behind their creation, as well as how people actually live in them," adds festival curator Václav Ševčík.
AUTUMN THAT TASTES LIKE WINE

There will also be music, a negroni bar, Italian lessons, and other accompanying programs. Admission is free.
