When looking at the line-up of Music in the Vineyards 2025, we mainly find established artists who regularly sell out the venues of modern wineries. Every year, however, the organizers strive to bring new faces from the domestic rock and pop scene to the stage. This time in the vineyards, you can also meet the stars of the series, which undoubtedly include the live-sounding Tros Discotequos, the ageless Čechomor, Queenie led by the Czech Freddie Mercury Michal Kluch, the rebellious Wohnout, the popular Jeleni, or the dancing Mig 21.
You will also hear David Koller on the solo stage, the master of improvisational wordplay Tomáš Klus, the queen of Czech pop Lucie Bílá, or Vojta Dyk. He will even perform in two formations – in more serious settings with his numerous band D.Y.K., and also as a member of the improvisational project Tros Discotequos, where he plays with his former partners from Nightwork Jakub Prachař and Jan Maxián. After four years, the pop-rock band UDG returns to the program for a double concert alongside the band Poletíme?. The duo Krhut & Kozub will also return to the vineyards. For Slovak language lovers, Horkýže Slíže will come among the vineyards again this year, the equally popular No Name will repeat their performances, and the excellent Slovak singer Adam Ďurica will make his debut in the series.
The organizers of Music in the Vineyards with Raiffka revealed a new location for the sixth year, where for the first time people will attend some concerts of the popular series in the gallery gardens of Kutná Hora in the summer of 2025, which will be hosted by Vinné sklepy Kutná Hora. This will complement the already traditional South Moravian stops at the wineries Sonberk in Popice, Lahofer in Dobšice near Znojmo, Chateau Valtice, and will not miss the Zlomek & Vávra Winery in Boršice, as well as the only location in Bohemia, the Johann W. Winery in Třebívlice.
Partly, the organizers are responding to the growing interest in their event; many shows were sold out in advance this year due to high demand. “After a year, we have again significantly broken the record in the number of visitors; this year, forty-five thousand listeners and lovers of good wine attended our concerts, which is five thousand more than last year. Thanks to this, we are adding more concerts. This year we are organizing at least forty from May to September, and more are in negotiation. We are constantly trying to improve the quality of the events to bring unforgettable experiences to people, which is why they return to our events,” lists one of the event organizers, Tomáš Staněk.
