WORLD ELEPHANT DAY AT ZOO PRAGUE

Prague Zoo will celebrate the largest land animals on the planet this Saturday. The themed program invites visitors to a guided bathing of elephants or to participate in making paper from elephant dung. In honor of the 10th anniversary of the Paper Mill, a limited edition of uniquely numbered paper will also be available for sale. The Indian elephants in Prague will not be left out either. Their keepers will surprise them with playful and tasty enrichment. A special gathering will commemorate the 50th birthday of the elephant Shanti and the current pregnancies of the females Tamara and Janita.

A new chapter of the Czech electronic scene. The Sound Chapter will kick off at the O2 Arena with four world DJs.

The Sound Chapter wants to open a new chapter of electronic music in the Czech Republic. While EDM traditionally takes place primarily outdoors, the new concept brings a large indoor show featuring a unique lineup of world DJs. Its first edition, The Opening Chapter, will take place on November 27, 2026, at Prague's O2 Arena and will feature performances by Dimitri Vegas, KSHMR, R3HAB, and MORTEN.

Queenie is heading to Prague. The 20th Anniversary Tour will ring out at the Křižík Fountain.

The anniversary tour of the band Queenie continues to Prague. On Tuesday, August 11, as part of the 20 Years Tour, they will perform at the Křižík Fountain at Prague's Exhibition Grounds, where they will offer a grand summer concert show dedicated to the music of Queen and the legacy of Freddie Mercury. This year's tour is special for the band as they celebrate 20 years of existence. Over two decades, they have performed more than 1,400 concerts in 25 countries around the world and have sold out the O2 Arena several times.

TRIPLE SUCCESS IN TROJA: PRAGUE ZOO REPORTS FIRST BREEDING OF THREE SNAKE SPECIES

At Prague Zoo, offspring of three species of snakes that had not previously bred here have come into the world. For the first time, two hatchlings of the recently discovered northern Australian python were born for science. The remaining species are live-bearing – a total of ten baby snakes were born to a female brown boa, an endemic species from Madagascar. The third reptile being bred for the first time is an underground inhabitant of Asian sand dunes: a female Tatar python delighted her keepers with four offspring.

The summer stage of the Ungelt Theatre is almost sold out. However, the theatre still offers a number of great performances.

Interest in this year's Summer Stage has exceeded expectations. By the end of July, more than 80% of all tickets have been sold out, yet the theater program continues until mid-September, and audiences still have plenty to choose from. Westfield Černý Most will present the Czech premiere of the Spider-Man phenomenon.
