KOGO Havelská

KOGO Havelská

In the heart of the Old Town, the story of one of the most iconic Italian restaurants in Prague – Kogo Havelská – has been unfolding for 30 years.

New edition

The restaurant founded in 1995 right at this location, on Havelská Street 27, has returned to its original address after years of house reconstruction, featuring a modern, creative design with outdoor seating in the oldest preserved passage of Prague's Old Town.

An elegant interior, a discreet atmosphere, and top-notch service create the perfect backdrop for authentic Mediterranean cuisine.

Kogo prides itself on fresh ingredients, homemade pasta, and a preference for seafood and fish, as well as a wide range of meats primarily from the grill. You can taste traditional vitello tonnato or octopus carpaccio, pasta with seafood, or classic spaghetti alla carbonara, and there is a wide year-round offering of renowned soups. The menu also features specialties such as beef alla rossini with foie gras, veal T-bone steak, and sole with lemon sauce. The wine list will please connoisseurs, with carefully selected wines primarily from Italian regions. Of course, excellent Italian espresso is available, which you can enjoy in the early morning hours, as Kogo now offers breakfast (daily from 8:00 AM).

The diverse areas of the restaurant allow for both business meetings and private celebrations, themed evenings, guided tastings, or informal networking. However, Kogo is primarily a place for a pleasant evening with family or friends.

The motto of the establishment is „Good food is joy. La gioia di mangiare.“ Come to Kogo to taste.
