CITY OF PELHŘIMOV

CITY OF PELHŘIMOV

Take a trip to a city that is celebrating 800 years. Pelhřimov is a beautiful historical city that is a well-preserved heritage reserve.

New edition

The city is not only a cradle of interesting history and rich architecture, but also a place for active experiences. You will have the historic center at your fingertips if you climb the thirty-meter-high observation tower of St. Bartholomew's Church. The effort is worth it. Newly installed painted indicators by local Libor Dedera are on the balcony. Do you have a sporting spirit and are you competitive?

In the sports complex located on Nádražní Street, a brand new mini-golf course was opened last year. There are 21 holes available, so the course will test the skills of both beginners and experienced players.

Do you just want to sunbathe, swim, or observe the surface of the pond? Visit the recreational area of Stráž Pond on the very edge of Pelhřimov towards Nová Cerekev. The entrance to the water is made more pleasant by a pebble beach with wooden piers. On the shore, play elements for children have been added, and at the local Stráž Bar restaurant, you can rent a paddleboard, a net for footvolley, an inflatable boat, or beach loungers.

Come celebrate with us in September. The main celebrations of the city's 800th anniversary will cheer up the city from September 12 - 14.
