The love for the town of Jindřichův Hradec connects seven artists and one art historian, who together present their works in the exhibition Memento mori (Remember that you are mortal) in the cloister of the Minorite monastery on Štítného Street, offering visitors their own ideas about the transience of human life.
This year's summer museum calendar includes, once again, night guided tours of one of the most significant architectural monuments of South Bohemia, the Church of St. John the Baptist, which hides bizarre paintings with mysterious meanings, on selected Fridays during the holidays.
The gardens and courtyards of the Minorite monastery on Štítného Street will become the venue for another Folklore Festival on July 19. Visitors can look forward to performances by several dance and singing ensembles not only from South Bohemia.
