In autumn, neither parents nor children have to say goodbye to the mountains. On the contrary, the Krkonošsko Mountains still offer plenty of options for shared days outdoors. Tourist destinations are open, and cable cars continue to take visitors into the mountains. The upcoming extended weekend promises an Indian summer, and the Krkonošsko Mountains in autumn colors are expecting an influx of tourists. Those heading to the mountains should therefore anticipate larger crowds and plan their routes in advance.

November in Prague has a charm of its own – and one tradition well worth experiencing. On Saturday, November 14, Náplavka will come alive with St. Martin’s celebrations, bringing together young wine, roast goose, music, and good company.

Traditionally, on Czech Statehood Day, Zoo Prague celebrates the anniversary of its opening – this time with the number 95! For Monday, September 28, the zoo has prepared a festive program in the presence of special guests. Costumes, historical vehicles, and stylish newsboys distributing period newspapers will transport the entire garden back to the 1930s. Interested visitors can have their hairstyles done for free in the style of that era and dance to the music of a live swing band. Visitors who arrive at the celebration in themed outfits will also receive a small gift. The program will also include presentations of new attractions and the opening of an exhibition celebrating 95 years of Zoo Prague. There will be popular sea lion training sessions, as well as commented feedings and meetings with the animals that were part of the beginnings of the Prague zoo: wolves, lions, and elephants.

Negroni is among the most famous classic cocktails, and its traditional recipe is based on gin, red vermouth, and bitter aperitif in equal parts. Throughout this week, visitors will also be able to try its various forms at the Holešovice Market, where six establishments will offer their unique interpretations of this classic. Additionally, visitors can embark on their own "Market Tour de Bar" and collect stickers for their Negroni passport while tasting.

The psychological thriller CALL is heading to Czech cinemas, showcasing how quickly a single mistake can turn into a public verdict. Director and screenwriter Matěj Balcar presents an intimate drama set almost in real time. The film opens up themes of online sexuality, loss of privacy, the power of social networks, and the instant judgments that often occur today before the truth itself.
