Six businesses, six Negronis, six stickers. Holešovice Market is preparing its own Tour de Bar as part of Negroni Week.

Six businesses, six Negronis, six stickers. Holešovice Market is preparing its own Tour de Bar as part of Negroni Week.

Three ingredients, over a hundred years of history, and many ways to mix them. Negroni is among the most famous classic cocktails, and its traditional recipe is based on gin, red vermouth, and bitter aperitif in equal parts. Throughout this week, visitors will also be able to try its various forms at the Holešovice Market, where six establishments will offer their unique interpretations of this classic. Additionally, visitors can embark on their own "Market Tour de Bar" and collect stickers for their Negroni passport while tasting.

New edition

The cocktail with more than a century of history is today one of the classics of Italian aperitivo culture. Its simple recipe highlights the quality of the individual ingredients and the bartender's craftsmanship, as well as the very culture of aperitivo, which is based on meeting, chatting, and moments when there is no need to rush anywhere. And it is precisely with the exploration of various forms of Negroni that this year's NegroniWeek in Holešovice Market is working. Part of it will be Negroni passports, in which visitors can collect stickers throughout the week for visiting individual participating establishments. Those who decide to visit all six places and collect a complete set of six stickers will receive a small reward for completing the entire route at any participating establishment – a bottle of Negroni from Garage22, the first craft distillery in Prague.

“We wanted to approach NegroniWeek as an opportunity to experience the Market a little differently. Each of the participating establishments has its own character, and this year visitors will be connected not only by a common drink but also by a small surprise. Six Negronis, six stickers, and at the end a reward. It’s a simple way to discover more places during one week and create your own Tour de Bar,” say Aleš Víšek and Lenka Hlavičková from Holešovice Market.

Negroni passports will be available upon request from the staff of the participating establishments. Among them are Bistro Kubar, Bublina Bar, Burza#4, Mezcalita bar, Myšák, and SKŌ. The number of passports and rewards is limited.
