Beer at Náplavka – the popular tasting festival of golden brew will take place this year on June 19 and 20 at Rašínovo nábřeží in Prague 2. A young bearded vulture that hatched in Prague Zoo this March has been released into the wild. The young female will soon be soaring over the Sierra Nevada mountains in Spanish Andalusia. Local colleagues from the Vulture Conservation Foundation named her Alhorí after a nearby glacial valley. The European population of these birds of prey is endangered. Thanks to reintroductions in Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, and France, there are now at most 250 birds inhabiting European mountain ranges.
