Don't put away your bike yet! The autumn cycling season continues until November.

Autumn doesn't have to mean the end of the cycling season. While many are already putting their bikes to winter sleep, cycling is still happening in the Ore Mountains. The Trail Park Klínovec offers over 30 kilometers of trails of all difficulty levels, autumn mountain atmosphere, and the last opportunity to enjoy riding with the support of a cable car. The season continues here until November 1st.

New edition

Autumn on a bike? Definitely yes in the Krušné Mountains

Shorter days, cooler mornings, and the first colorful leaves. For many cyclists, this is a signal that it’s time to clean, lubricate, and store the bike in the cellar. However, autumn riding has its own charm. And at the Trail Park Klínovec, you can enjoy it throughout October.

Autumn in the Krušné Mountains offers a completely different atmosphere than in the main summer season. The forests turn golden and orange, the air is fresh, and every descent takes on a slightly different character. It is precisely the combination of mountain nature and sports experience that makes Klínovec an interesting destination for an autumn trip.

Moreover, it’s not necessary to spend hours pedaling uphill. The cable car takes care of the journey to the top, leaving you with more time and energy for the most fun part – the ride down.

Over 30 kilometers of trails. From a leisurely ride to serious adrenaline

The idea of a bike park as a place reserved only for experienced downhill riders is long outdated. Trail Park Klínovec offers more than 30 kilometers of trails of varying difficulty, so both sporty bikers and those just starting with trail riding will find their terrain here.

One of the most popular trails is the approximately ten-kilometer long Azur. This flowing trail with banked turns and a gentle profile allows for a long descent without the need to tackle demanding technical sections. It is a suitable choice for less experienced riders and families with children who can safely control their bikes.

If you already have some riding experience and want to try a more challenging terrain, the ideal choice is Rubín. It offers a sportier riding character, but remains accessible to less experienced bikers who want to gradually improve their skills.

More experienced riders will appreciate the technical Baron, which combines challenging sections with jumps. An even bigger dose of adrenaline is offered by Illegal, while the Downhill trail is primarily intended for professionals and very experienced riders. It is also where downhill biking races are held.

Thanks to this variety, everyone can choose a trail according to their abilities and gradually discover new challenges. You can find the complete list of trails on the Krušné Mountains bike park website.

Don't have your own equipment? That's not a barrier either

A trip to the Trail Park doesn’t have to mean complicated logistics. There is a bike and protective gear rental operating directly on the premises, so you can try trail riding even without your own mountain bike.

There is also service and refreshments available. You can head to Klínovec not only for intense sports performance but also for an actively spent day with friends.

Before your trip, it’s worth checking the current price list of services and rentals, according to which you can plan your entire outing.

Last chance before the winter break

The Trail Park Klínovec will continue operating this year until Sunday, November 1, 2026. During the autumn, it is open mainly on weekends and throughout the autumn holidays. The cable car for cyclists, rental, service, and gastronomic facilities remain in operation.

The operational calendar is firmly established, and it operates even in less favorable weather. You can find the exact dates and opening hours in the overview of current operating hours.

In autumn, it’s advisable not to underestimate your clothing. While you can easily warm up while riding, it can be significantly cooler on the way up in the cable car. Functional layers, a light waterproof jacket, and gloves are therefore recommended. After rain, you should also expect wet roots and slippery surfaces, which can change the character of even a well-known trail.

Your bike can wait in the cellar

There will be plenty of time for winter rest. If you want to extend this year’s cycling season a bit longer, head to Klínovec for some autumn riding. Whether you are attracted to the flowing turns of Azur, the sportier Rubín, the technical Baron, or the adrenaline challenges of Illegal and Downhill, the last weeks of October offer the opportunity to enjoy the trails in a unique autumn atmosphere.

So before you finally store your bike in the cellar, treat it to a few more proper descents. The trails at Klínovec are still open.
