Axel Hedfors, performing under the artistic name Axwell and co-creator of the successful project Axwell & Lambda; Ingrosso, will perform in Ostrava for the very first time in his entire career. "We are very pleased that we managed to book Axwell for this year's festival edition. It is almost symbolic that Beats for Love Universe will kick off with this artistic supernova," says the enthusiastic festival program director Jiří Ramík. Axwell, in collaboration with his colleagues, is behind global megahits such as "More Than You Know," "Don't You Worry Child," and "Sun Is Shining." Throughout his career, he has received awards in prestigious polls such as the DJ Awards and MTV European Music Awards and has also been nominated five times for the Grammy Awards.

Festival as a new universe: Beats for Love Universe

Another hot news of this year's edition is the upcoming "Big Festival Bang," which will result in the creation of a completely new world called Beats for Love Universe. The festival area will transform into three new thematic zones named Love Sphere, Space Sphere, and Industrial Sphere, which will connect through the main artery aptly named Pulse. "Beats for Love Universe is not just about visual effects – it is a new way to experience the festival. By entering the area, you literally step into a new dimension. Our goal is not only to facilitate orientation in the area but, above all, to bring visitors stronger and deeper experiences," presents the concept the festival director Kamil Rudolf. The change will reflect in all installations, decorations, and artistic performances that will be visible literally at every corner.

Fans have also prayed for the Belgian magician Apashe, who will conjure up a brand new unforgettable cinematic show accompanied by a live orchestra on the Love stage by ČSOB. An absolute specialty is the unique world premiere of a set by top drum and bass producer A.M.C. with the queen of this genre, Katie Geraghty from the project Koven. Their unique b2b show in 2025 will be experienced by fans exclusively at Beats for Love.

"This year we wanted to offer a true balance. On one side are the icons known to all fans of electronic music, and on the other side are names that are experiencing tremendous rise and represent the future of the scene. Axwell is a dream come true for many electronic music fans, and John Summit shows where the genre can go. These unexpected connections give Beats for Love a unique atmosphere," adds Ramík.
