The pandemic plays into their hands – old rules no longer apply. The loan shark Assassin and a corrupt policeman want to find out who is disrupting their territory and make the most of it. Meanwhile, Lupyn is looking for money for a new life with Tamara and gets caught up in a spiral of lies and absurd situations.

However, she will definitely not be just someone’s creation. What starts as an attempt at a new life quickly transforms into a chain of events full of murders, obsession, cultural revolution, and burning forbidden love.

ONE WORLD PRAGUE 2026

One World annually highlights various forms of human rights violations and places current global events in broader contexts. This year’s program will offer films discussing the impact of social media or Russian propaganda and will also highlight societal phenomena through individual stories. The festival pays special attention to socio-political changes in neighboring Slovakia. The twenty-seventh edition of the International Human Rights Film Festival will take place in Prague from March 11 to April 24, 2026, followed by Prague Echoes.

The One World festival has been an integral part of the activities of the People in Need organization for more than a quarter of a century. Since its inception in 1999, it has brought documentary films about human rights from around the world to domestic audiences, which are screened in dozens of cities across the republic and also in Czech primary and secondary schools. One World has received honorary recognition from UNESCO for its education on human rights. Each year, dozens of guests from various countries of the world come to it – not only filmmakers but also protagonists and advocates of human rights. Discussions with them are one of the pillars of the program. The organizing team also strives for accessibility for all viewers, including those who are blind and visually impaired, deaf and hard of hearing, or people with reduced mobility.

From shaping Czechoslovak capitalism at the family table, through visits from world leaders, to the position of ambassador. A kind portrait of an extraordinary woman reveals her view of a world dominated primarily by humanity and a sense of protection for the weak.

It’s been a long time since Jeníček and Mařenka, as little kids, escaped from the witch’s shovel. Today, they are elite agents of the Secret Agency for the Control of Magic. However, the curse comes to fruition, and the siblings get kicked out before they can investigate anything. Together with a young wizard, they set out to investigate on their own – all the way to the North Pole and to Shindler’s. They face vengeful Alibaba and a quirky Dracula, piece together fragments of evidence, and uncover the true architect of the curse. And they find out that true love is no fairy tale.

The film focuses on the story of the nun before she became a globally recognized figure. Its aim is to explore the real person behind the myth of Mother Teresa, revealing her complexity, ambitions, and inner struggles.

The museum in Kunovice has ranked among the world's elite. It has acquired an ultralight from the 1930s.
The aviation museum in Kunovice acquired a new aircraft for its collection at the end of March. It is the HM-14 machine nicknamed Pou-du-Ciel, or Heavenly Flea. "It was a kind of predecessor to today's ultralight aircraft. People built Heavenly Fleas at home in the 1930s and 1940s according to a book guide. Anyone with a bit of skill could manage it," says the museum director Martin Hrabec about it.

Chase & Status will perform at Let It Roll 2026! The festival confirms the strongest lineup in its history with the second phase of the program.
After the most successful winter edition of the festival in the history of Let It Roll, the festival continues to unveil the program for the summer festival, which will take place at the end of July and the beginning of August by Lake Most.
