At the end of June, the summer cinema will once again open to viewers on the grassy roof of the DOX+ hall, offering nine summer evenings under the starry sky.
From the Watergate scandal to the beginnings of the #metoo movement. From honest journalism to algorithms and fake news. This year's summer film season at DOX loosely follows the HIT BY NEWS exhibition and its theme – art and the world of media. It will feature award-winning feature films and documentaries inspired by real media cases, stories of investigative journalists and reporters, a glimpse into the harsh backstage of journalism, and a broader reflection on media reality. Nine summer evenings under the starry sky on the roof of DOX+. Nine thrilling films about the power (and powerlessness) of media to change our lives. You can also look forward to quality sound through headphones, a view of the airship, and summer drinks.
