NEW ERA OF THE FESTIVAL: TWO DAYS OF HARD MUSIC
After two successful years that have earned a solid place in the calendars of both Prague and non-Prague fans, the organizers have decided to raise the bar. The extension of the festival to two days means not only double the amount of music but also a richer space for meetings of the entire metal community. Visitors can look forward to a meticulously curated line-up that maps the most interesting sub-genres – from classic hard rock to power and heavy metal, to uncompromising thrash metal and brutal hard rock. The festival's aim remains to support the domestic rock-metal scene, connecting regional legends with ambitious Prague formations and bringing top-notch concert experiences under fair conditions. The Železná Panna area also guarantees excellent gastronomic facilities, plenty of refreshing drinks, and comfort that is often lacking in regular green meadows.
GENRE-PACKED LINE-UP: WHO WILL DOMINATE THE STAGE THIS YEAR?
The programming of the third year leaves no doubt that ROCK MOTOL FEST 2026 will be one of the highlights of the open-air season. A total of ten genre-diverse bands will take the stage, guaranteeing 100% commitment from the first chord to the final encore.
The main attraction for fans of the British heavy metal school will undoubtedly be the IRON MAIDEN revival from Brno. This band is known for its absolutely faithful interpretation of the immortal hits of the legendary global icon, precise instrumental performances, and a stage show that transports fans directly to stadiums. They will bring a show from Brno to Prague that will be remembered for a long time.
The local Prague scene and authentic, dirty hard rock'n'roll of the world caliber will be represented by the popular Dead Daniels. Their energetic sets, strong melodies, and lyrics from life will leave no one calm.
Fans of uncompromising metal-rock'n'roll will also not be disappointed, as the formation Ocelot arrives from Znojmo. Lovers of melodic and fast power metal should definitely not miss the performance of the Kutná Hora band Torrax, whose strengths are epic songs and catchy choruses. For fans of extremely dark guitar sounds and fast tempos, the Prague thrash metal command Epidemy is prepared, promising an authentic mosh pit under the stage.
The diversity of the program is highlighted by more great names. The rock-metal Aligator will arrive from Bystřice nad Pernštejnem, while the hard & heavy maestros Rasmane will bring their share of honest sound from Nymburk. The local Prague colors will further be represented by the formation Laters with their energetic mix of heavy and punk rock, the uncompromising and rough Kultivátor with their brutal hard rock, and last but not least, the heavy metal ensemble Airscrew, which will please all fans of classic guitar duels and sharp riffs.
FAMILY ATMOSPHERE AND A BARRIER-FREE FESTIVAL
ROCK MOTOL FEST has been based since its inception on being an open and friendly event for all generations of rockers. The organizers highly value the loyalty of their fans and want to make it possible for everyone to visit the festival. Therefore, for this year, the traditional and very friendly entrance policy is maintained: all holders of ZTP cards and children under 15 have free access to the entire area for both days.
You can thus safely head out with the whole family and show the younger generation what honest rock culture looks like.

The area of the former Motol campsite has excellent transport accessibility. Visitors can use Prague's public transport, specifically tram and bus lines heading to the Motol stop, from where it is just a few minutes' walk to the area. For visitors from outside Prague, parking is ensured in the nearby vicinity; however, it is recommended to use public transport due to the expected high attendance.
Compared to standard festivals on green meadows, this event offers stable facilities at the stone restaurant Železná Panna.
