The band KVĚTY has existed since the beginning of this millennium.
Throughout the time, its sound has significantly changed. The focus has shifted from acoustic instruments to a denser rock sound with frequent use of electronics. Although it is experimental and exploratory, the number of its listeners has grown to a very wide spectrum. Strong lyrics, colorful arrangements, brilliant artistic design of album covers, lively concerts, and the presence of humor are appreciated. The band has performed hundreds of shows, including those abroad (Serbia, Austria, Poland, France, the Netherlands, Ukraine). Among other awards, the group received the Vinyla award and has also won the Anděl award three times in the Alternative music genre. The band collaborated with the DNO theater, recorded music for a radio play, and composed and recorded songs for the television series "Svět pod hlavou," which was awarded the Czech Lion. The band also composed and recorded music for Jakub Šmíd's feature film "Na krátko" and for the films "Veterán" and "Marťanské lodě." Many compositions were also created on commission for various compilation albums and projects. Members: Martin E.
