The solo exhibition of Antonín Střížek presents a selection of his paintings, drawings, and photographs from recent years, emphasizing his current position. Night city scenes, balladic, deserted landscapes, stripped-down interiors, large floral still lifes, and memories of old telephone booths provide insight into the author's unique inner world, which is as familiar to the viewers as if they lived closely in his neighborhood. The exhibition, introduced by older pivotal works by Střížek, Chair (2020) and Bathroom (2020), will conclude with the latest series of paintings titled Bauhaus, in which he was loosely inspired by Oscar Schlemmer's Triadic Ballet.
