Andrés Coll is truly a "demonic" virtuoso on the electric marimba. Not that he exceeds the speed of sound while playing, it is clearly audible, but he certainly approaches it. Especially when he is encouraged by the frenetic drumming of Ramón López. However, the Cosmic Trio also plays pieces as mysterious as cosmic tales. And also touching pieces, especially when Mateusz Smoczynski sensitively lays into the poignant tones of the violin. The audience will find themselves momentarily off the planet Earth at the concert.

HALF-CENTURY IN GRAND STYLE: PRAGUE ZOO CELEBRATES ITS 95TH ANNIVERSARY
Traditionally, on Czech Statehood Day, Zoo Prague celebrates the anniversary of its opening – this time with the number 95! For Monday, September 28, the zoo has prepared a festive program in the presence of special guests. Costumes, historical vehicles, and stylish newsboys distributing period newspapers will transport the entire garden back to the 1930s. Interested visitors can have their hairstyles done for free in the style of that era and dance to the music of a live swing band. Visitors who arrive at the celebration in themed outfits will also receive a small gift. The program will also include presentations of new attractions and the opening of an exhibition celebrating 95 years of Zoo Prague. There will be popular sea lion training sessions, as well as commented feedings and meetings with the animals that were part of the beginnings of the Prague zoo: wolves, lions, and elephants.
