The Museum of Prague is celebrating 145 years since its founding. Come celebrate with us!
What you can experience A day full of discovery, creativity, and stories connected to the Museum of Prague awaits you. For adults, we have prepared guided tours that will take you into the history of the main building and behind its collection treasures. Children and their adult companions can look forward to an open studio full of creativity and playful exploration of the museum. Throughout the day, our purple museum mascot Grifo will guide you. Admission to the entire program is free. Open Studio 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Workshop Room Come play, create, and explore the world of the museum a little differently with your children! Our Workshop Room will be open all day, where creative and playful activities await both young and old visitors. You can try assembling your own museum, designing an original museum ticket, making your own postcard, or engaging in various paper crafts. The open studio offers space for imagination, family creativity, and personal ideas. You can come at any time during the program and participate at your own pace and preference.

Museum Montanelli: ME! BEDŘICH DLOUHÝ
The Montanelli Museum will present the work of Bedřich Dlouhý, one of the most prominent figures in Czech post-war art. The paintings and objects come from the Montanelli Museum's own collection. They will provide visitors with the opportunity to engage with the work of an artist whose original artistic language combines precise painting, imagination, symbolism, and a distinctive irony.

HALF-CENTURY IN GRAND STYLE: PRAGUE ZOO CELEBRATES ITS 95TH ANNIVERSARY
Traditionally, on Czech Statehood Day, Zoo Prague celebrates the anniversary of its opening – this time with the number 95! For Monday, September 28, the zoo has prepared a festive program in the presence of special guests. Costumes, historical vehicles, and stylish newsboys distributing period newspapers will transport the entire garden back to the 1930s. Interested visitors can have their hairstyles done for free in the style of that era and dance to the music of a live swing band. Visitors who arrive at the celebration in themed outfits will also receive a small gift. The program will also include presentations of new attractions and the opening of an exhibition celebrating 95 years of Zoo Prague. There will be popular sea lion training sessions, as well as commented feedings and meetings with the animals that were part of the beginnings of the Prague zoo: wolves, lions, and elephants.

Negroni is among the most famous classic cocktails, and its traditional recipe is based on gin, red vermouth, and bitter aperitif in equal parts. Throughout this week, visitors will also be able to try its various forms at the Holešovice Market, where six establishments will offer their unique interpretations of this classic. Additionally, visitors can embark on their own "Market Tour de Bar" and collect stickers for their Negroni passport while tasting.
