The story follows Sarah, a forty-year-old mother who balances caring for her two young sons, work responsibilities, and a relationship with her emotionally absent husband, Antoine. Their marriage is under strain from the daily fatigue and on the brink of collapse. During a family trip to the sea, their older son Simon briefly but frighteningly disappears. When Sarah finds him on the shore, he is soaked, has a fever, and is behaving strangely. From that moment on, he is irresistibly drawn to water – spending hours in the bath and constantly seeking out water, which increasingly unsettles the family. While Antoine downplays the seriousness of the situation, Sarah is convinced that it is something more serious. She decides to unconditionally support her son, believing that her love may be the only support in the face of the unknown. The film intertwines intimate family drama with psychological tension and explores how far love and maternal instinct can drive parents when the well-being – and possibly even the very identity – of their child is at stake.

The legendary actor Gojko Mitić, who became an idol for several generations of viewers thanks to his roles as brave Indian chiefs, will come to Prague. He will star in a domestic film produced by Pixeso studio and on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM, he will personally meet his fans during a special Meet & Greet, including photo opportunities and autograph signing at the Prague Planetarium, which is part of Planetum at the Prague Exhibition Grounds. This is a unique event, as it will be Gojko's last visit to the Czech Republic.

The Sound Chapter wants to open a new chapter of electronic music in the Czech Republic. From Carnegie Hall to Rudolfinum. Violin virtuoso Blake Pouliot will perform for the first time in the Czech Republic at the opening concert of the Prague Philharmonia.
The Prague Philharmonia will kick off its 33rd concert season on September 4th in the Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum. Under the baton of music director and chief conductor Emmanuel Villaume, the orchestra will feature Canadian violin virtuoso Blake Pouliot, who will be making his debut to the Czech audience on this occasion. The program, which connects Bohuslav Martinů, Samuel Barber, and Ludwig van Beethoven, will build on the orchestra's successful American chapter and bring its energy back to Prague.
WORLD ELEPHANT DAY AT ZOO PRAGUE
Prague Zoo will celebrate the largest land animals on the planet this Saturday. The themed program invites visitors to a guided bathing of elephants or to participate in making paper from elephant dung. In honor of the 10th anniversary of the Paper Mill, a limited edition of uniquely numbered paper will also be available for sale. The Indian elephants in Prague will not be left out either. Their keepers will surprise them with playful and tasty enrichment. A special gathering will commemorate the 50th birthday of the elephant Shanti and the current pregnancies of the females Tamara and Janita.

On Tuesday, August 11, as part of the 20 Years Tour, they will perform at the Křižík Fountain at Prague's Exhibition Grounds, where they will offer a grand summer concert show dedicated to the music of Queen and the legacy of Freddie Mercury. This year's tour is special for the band as they celebrate 20 years of existence. Over two decades, they have performed more than 1,400 concerts in 25 countries around the world and have sold out the O2 Arena several times.
