After successful concerts in Strakonice, Plzeň, České Budějovice, and Loket, Queenie is looking forward to another significant stop on this year's tour. Křižík's Fountain will offer a completely different atmosphere for their anniversary show than a classic concert hall. The music of Queen will resonate under the open sky, and the unique space of Prague's Výstaviště will create the backdrop for the concert. After the Prague concert, the tour will continue with further stops in Brno, Hradec Králové, Olomouc, and Litomyšl.
Queenie in Prague under the open sky
“The Prague concert will be another important stop on this year's tour for us. We love open-air concerts precisely because a completely different energy is created between the band and the audience than in a hall. Křižík's Fountain is also a beautiful and unique place. We are really looking forward to Prague after the concerts in the other cities,” says the band's frontman Michael Kluch.
Křižík's Fountain will offer visitors a concert experience as well as a unique backdrop combining the historic space of Výstaviště with the water and light effects of the fountain. A summer evening in Prague will thus complement the music of Queen with visual effects that will add a specific charm to it.
Wembley 1986 is the inspiration
The two-hour concert will feature the biggest hits of Queen, including Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, We Are The Champions, I Want To Break Free, and A Kind of Magic. This year's show is inspired by the legendary Magic Tour of Queen from 1986. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the tour, which culminated in famous concerts at the largest European stadiums, including London's Wembley.
“Wembley 1986 is a symbol of immense energy and a great concert show for Queen fans. This is precisely the feeling we want to convey in our concerts this year,” states Michael Kluch.
