Prague Zoo will celebrate the largest land animals on the planet this Saturday. The themed program invites visitors to a guided bathing of elephants or to participate in making paper from elephant dung. In honor of the 10th anniversary of the Paper Mill, a limited edition of uniquely numbered paper will also be available for sale. The Indian elephants in Prague will not be left out either. Their keepers will surprise them with playful and tasty enrichment. A special gathering will commemorate the 50th birthday of the elephant Shanti and the current pregnancies of the females Tamara and Janita.

The atmosphere of Asian culture and a rich program throughout the Elephant Valley. The Saturday celebrations at Zoo Prague will start at 10:30 with a guided enrichment presentation for the female elephants. Engaging storytelling by the guides of Prague Zoo will take place several times a day, even during the attractive bathing of the elephants at 14:00. During this, people will learn why bathing is important for elephants or which of the Prague elephants is the biggest water lover.

Not only for young visitors, the Education Department of Zoo Prague will prepare creative workshops and informative play stations, through which interested parties will get acquainted with the diverse life of elephants, the history of elephant breeding at Zoo Prague, their influence on culture, and the necessity of protecting these iconic creatures.

Drying, dyeing, and decorating: visitors can try making handmade paper from elephant dung in the lower part of the area near the Geostezka. They can choose from a variety of artistic techniques. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Zoo Prague Paper Mill, there is also a limited edition of colored paper with an anniversary design and unique numbering available.

This year's tour is special for the band as they celebrate 20 years of existence.
