Interactive lecture on intimate relationships and communication with Ester and her life examples, and Honza with his examples from the therapy room.
Today, the already iconic project called Therapy through Sharing has found its way and secured its place in the online world and beyond. The project has its specific book form (two books and an audiobook), an audio series on Audiotéka, and inspired the creation of a live-action series for Mall.tv. Building on the success of Instagram and the books, Ester Geislerová and Honza Vojtek launched the live lecture Therapy through Sharing, which had around fifty presentations across the Czech Republic. "With expert and therapist Honza Vojtek, we prepared a lecture on relationships and communication. Finally, I can discuss with someone professionally what we chat about with our friends, someone who knows what it's about, and I, together with the audience, learn how not to repeat old mistakes. We help everyone who is interested or troubled to find a way or a bridge. We outline basic concepts about relationships, debunk myths, and do so in a modern and engaging way," says the author of the concept and visuals, Ester Geislerová. Honza Vojtek on the project: "The world is changing. We live in a time that allows us to choose partners based on our feelings, out of love; we don’t have to marry just to connect two estates. However, this freedom unfortunately often complicates our lives. Our choice requires us to know ourselves. To know who we are and thus recognize who our ideal partner is. And on top of that, this amazing world constantly supplies us with new toys and technologies that are a good servant but a bad master. And as we don’t know ourselves, we often succumb to these toys and take shortcuts even with those closest to us, our partners, leading us to make fateful mistakes. But we are not alone in this; it happens to all of us! The best way to learn is through mistakes (even those of others, in which we recognize ourselves). We will show you those mistakes. Sharing is the best therapy!"
