International Organ Music Festival.
The Metropolitan Chapter of St. Vitus in Prague, in cooperation with the Administration of Prague Castle, is organizing the fifteenth edition of the traditional international organ music festival in the Cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas, and Adalbert. The St. Vitus Organ Evenings are a unique summer festival that offers you the opportunity to listen to masterful works of organ music right in the heart of the Cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas, and Adalbert at Prague Castle. Each year brings leading organ artists from home and abroad to the cathedral. This year will be no different, as the cathedral will welcome organists from the Czech Republic, the USA, Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria. The program will be newly enriched by a concert with a symphony orchestra and a special evening featuring a guest soloist – a horn player. We are in for a true celebration of organ music. The fifteenth edition will be extraordinary in many ways. For the very first time, the new and long-awaited organs will resonate during the festival. Additionally, you can look forward to a double portion of experiences in the form of ten concert evenings. Immerse yourself in the majestic acoustics of the Gothic cathedral and let the sounds of the new cathedral organs carry you away. All of this in the most impressive historical gem of Prague!
