From Thursday, October 2 to Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the entire republic will come alive with architecture. For the fifteenth time, Architecture Day is being held, a festival that opens the doors to buildings that are usually inaccessible, invites walks, lectures, and unconventional experiences. This year's theme is "That Architecture" – a female perspective in architecture, from the early pioneers of the First Republic to contemporary female architects. The event is organized by the Prague association Kruh, and in Olomouc and its surroundings, the association Za krásnou Olomouc is participating with the AMOP project (Architectural Manual of the Přerov District) and the Rudolf Eitelberger Award. This year's program is fine-tuned to the last detail, so let's introduce it in detail.

The Golden Cross delicacies have been part of the Prague gastro scene for over a hundred years. Since 1916, Alois Zoufalý has been attracting visitors with luxurious sandwiches featuring lobster and champagne. Later, a different era came – generations of Prague residents still remember the ham sandwich on salad, 150 grams of Russian salad with a roll, or traditional pastries. However, gradually the Golden Cross lost its luster, and when it finally closed in 2024, the media wrote about the end of an era.

The theater in Řeznická, under the leadership of Lukáš Pečenka and Jiří Š Hájek, will present four productions in the upcoming theater season, whose thematic range covers all the intended dramaturgical lines of the theater. The overarching theme is family ties, relationships, and communication. The upcoming season will offer a wide repertoire of the theater, interesting discussions, improvisational evenings, and, without exaggeration, world-class performances in the field of nonverbal theater, among many other things.
