The largest paddling event for scouts and the public in Prague goes through three weirs and will take place in style on the national holiday. It is not a race - it's about relaxation.
What are the Prague 3 Weirs? A race and for those who do not want to race, a free float down the Vltava River on canoes, rafts, boats, paddleboards, or other vessels. The route goes through the Šítkovský, Staroměstský, and Helmovský weirs in the center of Prague. The event is organized by scouts, traditionally on the feast of St. Wenceslas on September 28. I want to race, but I'm not a scout? That's absolutely fine, the race is open to everyone who registers. Please check the schedule of competition categories in the event's details. I want to go for a free float or race, but I don't have a boat. What now? You can rent a boat from rental services; the rentals supporting our event are listed in the Boat Rental section. If you want to be sure, reserve it in advance. How can I register for either the free float or the race? You need to visit the Registration section, fill out the application form, and either pay (with a discount in advance) to our account, in cash when picking up the float ticket, or on-site when picking up the race number. Always use your variable symbol, which you will receive by email after submitting the application. The float ticket is for participants of the free float, while race numbers are given to race participants. I paid, what now? You received a confirmation code in your email. Upon announcing it, you will receive float tickets for the free float at partner stores or in the morning at the start. Racers will pick up their race numbers with the code according to the start list in the morning at the start. How do I report a change in the registered participants? Fill out the application for the free float again. Racers can update their application through the link they received in their email after the first submission. The additional payment of the participation fee is possible until September 20 to the account, later only in cash. Where and how can I park to participate? If possible and you are not bringing your own boat, do not drive to the start or finish by car. We have prepared a wide range of options for paid and free parking.
