„Our goal was to create something that I would jokingly call Michelin fast food. Quality meat, fresh ingredients, and recipes that I stand behind. A burger can be honest and at the same time accessible,“ said chef and concept partner Zdeněk Pohlreich.
The founder of Mama’s Burger David Kaňák, who built the brand together with his brother, presented plans for further development: „We are proud that we opened today in Prague at Ládví. We are already operating in nine cities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and we look forward to Mama’s quickly finding its fans in Prague 8.“
The owner of the branch in Beachclub Ládví, Olympian Michal Novotný appreciated Zdeněk Pohlreich's contribution and the concept itself: „Thank you to Zdeněk for standing behind the quality of Mama’s Burger. I hope the brand builds on my sports victories and wins the imaginary competition for the best burgers in Prague.“
The grand opening was also attended by other notable guests: journalist Nora Fridrichová, Olympic winners Ondřej Synek and Lukáš Krpálek, world champion in skicross Tomáš Kraus, canoe slalom athlete, as well as Stardance finalist Vávra Hradilek and football legend Ladislav Vízek.
Mama’s Burger enters the metropolis with the ambition to appeal to everyone looking for an honest burger in a modern interpretation.
