Stars from The Lord of the Rings, Farscape, Red Dwarf, and Mads Mikkelsen are heading to Comic-Con Prague 2026! It starts in just a few days.

The seventh edition of Comic-Con Prague will take place from March 13 to 15, 2026, at the O₂ universe in Prague and will welcome stars from movies, series, comics, and literary fantasy. This year, there is an extraordinary interest in the festival. Saturday tickets are already sold out, but fans can still purchase one-day tickets for Friday and Sunday to not miss the largest program yet.

New edition

„This year's edition is one of the strongest in the history of the festival. We are especially pleased now because we managed to invite Mads Mikkelsen, who is among the most prominent European film actors today. We knew he was filming in Prague and we tried to reach out to his American agents. At first, nothing happened, but after a week they got back to us saying that although Mads had returned to Denmark, he is willing to fly here just for a few hours at our Comic-Con Prague. We believe that given his usual fee, this event is unique. Therefore, we will also stream the discussion with him to the second largest hall. The opportunity to take a photo with him will be very limited, only at the very beginning of the con,” says Pavel Renčín, marketing director of Active Radio, the main organizer of the festival.

Heroes of sci-fi and fantasy live in Prague

One of the most famous guests of this year's edition is Mads Mikkelsen, the Danish actor known from films like Casino Royale, Doctor Strange, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, or the series Hannibal. Other stars include Billy Boyd, who portrayed the hobbit Pippin in the Oscar-winning trilogy The Lord of the Rings. Sci-fi fans will be delighted by Ben Browder and Claudia Black, stars of the cult series Farscape, who later also appeared in the world of Stargate. Robert Llewellyn will also be attending as the android Kryton from the legendary British sitcom Red Dwarf, which is among the most popular sci-fi series with the Czech audience. Another prominent guest is Iain Glen, known for his role as Jorah Mormont in the series Game of Thrones and from the Resident Evil film series. Fans will have the chance to meet him only on Sunday.

The program will also feature actresses Diêm Camille and Sandra Yi Sencindiver from the sci-fi series Alien: Earth. Diêm Camille, besides acting, is involved in screenwriting and directing and has received awards for her short film Doll at several festivals. Sandra Yi Sencindiver, known from the series Foundation and The Wheel of Time, is among the rising stars of contemporary genre creation. Fans of current series hits will also be pleased to see Craig Fairbrass and Vincent Regan, who appeared in the live-action adaptation of the popular anime One Piece produced by Netflix.

Czech legends, comics, and literary fantasy

The Czech acting scene will also be strongly represented at the festival. Jaroslav Satoranský and Jiří Lábus, two of the most prominent figures in domestic acting, will attend. Literary fantasy will be represented by Travis Baldree, author of the heartwarming stories from the series Legends and Latté. The comic scene will be bolstered by Czech authors Petr Kopl, Dan Černý, and Nikkarin.
