Practical Tips
- Book in advance. The winter season is usually the busiest in spa hotels, especially on weekends. It pays to plan and book ahead.
- Packages and stays. Most resorts offer discounted wellness packages for 2–3 nights. These include accommodation, access to wellness, and often treatments or sauna rituals.
- Weather doesn’t matter. Spa stays are ideal even during periods when there is no snow in the mountains or when it is dreary outside. Warm thermal water and saunas will warm both body and soul.
This selection of five shows that there are many ways to enjoy winter in the Czech Republic beyond the slopes. Whether you are looking for adrenaline and water attractions, family wellness in the mountains, traditional spa care, or a sophisticated sauna world, these five resorts can satisfy a wide range of visitors.
