The legendary band LAURA AND HER TIGERS will perform at two extraordinary concerts, specifically on November 12 and 13 at the Prague House of Joy. In the unique functionalist space of the Přítomnost Boutique Cinema, they will present their special program In!entura and launch their new studio album MOST! The concert will also kick off a series of performances celebrating the band's 40th anniversary. The main vocalist and special guest will be Ilona Csáková, and founding member Bohumil Vitásek will also join.

In the series already 14th regular album returns to the very beginning bandleader and exclusive author of music and lyrics Karel Šůcha in it remembers his native city Most, where he spent his youth and founded the band Laur and its tigers.„To Most I can only remember my dear ones. During one of the November visits I went with my family to see Lake Most. The view of the calm surface triggered memories of the destroyed city and in my head the first hints of futurelyrics appeared, Karel Šůcha introduces the beginnings of work on a new album.
 


He invited to collaborate also former members of the band Ilona Csáková and Bohumil Vitáska.The lyrics of the new
songs are very personal, a memory of the lost city constantly evokes strong feelings in me. When composing songs I realized more and more that the songs should be sung by someone with similar experience. Ilona and Bohuš, who came from the same environment, were then an obvious choice. I sent them demos and after listening to them Ilona wrote to me: I saw myself again in Neprakťák. Time machine. So much emotion in the morning, I think you succeeded. The song Lake Most is perfect, adds Karel Šůcha.
 
 
At two concerts the audience will have the opportunity to listen to both the newly baptized songs, as well as thegreatest hits proven over the years. At the forefront of the tiger pack will stand Ilona Csáková and the band will presenttheir traditional energy-filled show. The album Most! will be released in online form on all good streaming platforms. Next yearthen at the concert, which will conclude the celebration of the 40th anniversary, the band will release a vinyl doublealbum In!Ventura, where the album Most! will be a selection of newly recorded songs, which have not yet been released on vinyl.

In the spring of 2026, the House of Music Hungary will open the exhibition Freddie – The Exhibition, which will comprehensively present the personal story of one of the greatest rock icons of all time for the first time in history. The Grammy-nominated formation is one of the most prominent bands in the current rock scene – their energetic combination of hard rock, electronic elements, and strong melodies sounds timeless while bearing their distinct signature. The band, which has won millions of fans worldwide, manages to connect the energy of modern rock with the emotional depth of their lyrics and uncompromising concert shows. In October, a unique book about Czechs in Berlin will be published.

After a successful crowdfunding campaign, the publication "Czechs in Berlin - Life Beyond the Border" will be released in early October, mapping the fascinating stories of Czech residents in the German capital. On the Hithit platform, 212,345 CZK was raised from the required 199,000 CZK, which is 106%. The 352-page publication, featuring 311 photographs, will be released in October 2025 and is the first comprehensive publication of its kind about this vibrant community. The book by author Jana Kománková offers a unique perspective on the lives of Czechs in Berlin – from pre-November emigrants to contemporary artists, scientists, and other residents.

Heroes' Day 2025 at the Exhibition Center: stories of public service at the podcast stage and a humanitarian base for the first time in Prague!

The Prague Exhibition Grounds will host the 10th anniversary of the Heroes' Day event this year, which has long been dedicated to the theme of civil protection and the work of integrated rescue services. It will take place on September 27th from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the lower part of the Exhibition Grounds and in Křižík's Pavilion B. The main attraction of this year's edition is a unique premiere at this location – the Material Base for Humanitarian Aid, which the public will see in its full extent for the very first time.
