We warmly invite you to the weekend minifestival of the LETÍ Theatre, during which we will celebrate our 20th anniversary.
The last weekend of May, specifically May 30th and 31st, you will be able to fully enjoy a diverse cultural program focused on new drama at the VILA Štvanice Theater and its surroundings. Most of the program will also be completely free. PROGRAM - Saturday, May 30, 2026 14:00 Brunch with a new play In the beautiful park on Štvanice, in addition to a delicious brunch, you will also experience short plays by young Czech authors and witness the awarding of the Evald Schorm Prize. (Tickets available in the GoOut network.) 15:15 With a passion for new plays Discussion on contemporary drama with Czech authors Klára Vlasáková, Tomáš Ráliš, David Košťák, and Daniela Samsonová. (Free entry) 16:15 Technicians on stage! Theater lighting and sound technicians often remain hidden from the audience's eyes. This time, however, they will step out of the darkness into the spotlight – and for the very first time, they will appear on stage with a seductive, sparklingly satirical program dedicated to the LETÍ Theater. (Free entry.) 17:00 Vernissage of photographs by Míša Kášová Míša Kášová, a long-time technical producer of the LETÍ Theater, not only carefully manages the backstage operations of the theater but occasionally captures magical moments. Come take a peek behind the scenes of LETÍ through Míša Kášová's lens. 18:00 Shake off the fur (Awarding of the Mark Ravenhill Prize and fashion show) Awarding of the Mark Ravenhill Prize for the best Czech production of a new text in 2025. The prize takes the form of a fur coat designed by prestigious costume designers for each year, which the director of the production symbolically takes home. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary celebrations, there will be a fashion show of "furs" from previous years. (Free entry.) 18:30 IT FLIES An evening full of fun, memories, and surprises. An original mix of quiz, the legendary game Kufr, and a dash of "Believe it or not" or "Truth or lie." This entertaining memory quiz will guide you through the history of the LETÍ Theater, test your memory and imagination, and spice it up with musical excerpts that will take you back in time. The evening will be hosted by Richard Fiala, Milada Vyhnálková, and Petr Ťopek, with the musical atmosphere provided by Lucia Čižinská aka DJ Samba Cha-Cha. Come play, reminisce, and celebrate two decades of the LETÍ Theater with us! (Free entry.) 20:00 DJ Samba Cha-Cha and campfire (Free entry.) 22:00 Raffle announcement - Sunday, May 31, 2026 16:00 - DRAMAtapas (Tasting of short plays by contemporary Czech authors) Public listening of a series of eight short plays created as part of the Dinner with a New Play project and thanks to Czech Radio received a new – radio – form. The program will also include meetings and discussions with their authors. (Free entry.) 20:00 Tramp dinner with a new play Petr Uhlík as the last living white heterosexual man, dark stories from summer camp, Snow White without Disney censorship, and the search for the answer to the question of whether God is dead. Beer at Náplavka – the popular tasting festival of golden brew will take place this year on June 19 and 20 at Rašínovo nábřeží in Prague 2. Both established and newcomer breweries will participate, with 40 representatives of Czech mini and microbreweries showcasing their offerings at Rašínovo nábřeží. The festival will also feature food stalls, a beer flea market, and several concerts.
