For the physically fit and adventurous, the ideal location is the Těšínské Beskydy, where short descents and challenging ascents will test your endurance and determination. The Pobeskydí and Karvinsko regions feature flat terrain, making them suitable for families and active seniors.

Among the long-distance routes, the most attractive is cycle route No. 10. It starts in Bukovec, the easternmost village in the Czech Republic, and ends in Bohumín at the border crossing with Poland (Bohumín–Chałupki). This nearly 80-kilometer route loosely follows the flow of the Olše River and runs along paved roads. From Karviná to Bohumín, it runs in close proximity to the river on a separate cycle path.
Another long-distance option is route No. 56, which leads through the foothills of the Beskydy and offers unique views of the Silesian Beskydy, continuing through the lowland landscape around the Těrlická reservoir, Havířov, and Orlová to Bohumín. The Iron Cycle Route offers a cross-border loop from Karviná through Petrovice near Karviná to Godów, further into Poland and back. Part of the route was created on former railway tracks. These sections are very gentle and in the pleasant shade of surrounding trees.

Těšínské Slezsko also invites you to rich cultural and historical stops. The easternmost point of the Czech Republic in Bukovec is an excellent starting point for exploration. On the way from Jablunkov, you can admire unique wall paintings in Písek and Bukovec, while the tripoint in Hrčava reminds you that the borders of the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia intersect right here.
For families with children, the Lomňanská cycle path is ideal, measuring 10 kilometers and running along a safe separate cycle path to Horní Lomná. In addition to cycling, it offers stops with attractions for children and relaxation by the river with excellent coffee for adults. The loop around Vrbické Lake in Bohumín represents a leisurely ride on a bike or inline skates. You can rent pedal boats and paddleboards. Safe storage for bikes is provided by bike boxes. On hot days, Vrbické Lake is an ideal place for swimming and refreshing, making the combination of sport, relaxation, and water a great family day.

History lovers will enjoy a trip to the wooden churches of Těšínské Slezsko. The route starts at the Church of the Body of Christ in Gutech, passes through Koňákov with breathtaking views of the Beskydy, and continues around the Těrlická reservoir to the Church of St. Peter and Paul in Albrechtice. The destination is the Church of the Ascension of the Lord in Dolní Marklovice, after about forty kilometers filled with natural beauty, history, and relaxation by the water.
