The biggest attraction of the International Dance Day is the nationwide flashmob, the choreography of which will be prepared this year by the talented actor and dancer Oskar Hes.
"The choreography of the flash mob is usually published three weeks before International Dance Day, so that everyone can learn it in peace and dance it on April 29 either directly with us and Oskar at the celebration center on Střelecký Island in Prague or anywhere across the country," adds Martin Kolda. The organizers are also collecting tips for dance events all over the country on their MDT map, so that everyone eager to dance can find an opportunity in their immediate vicinity. Additionally, the map features videos of everyone dancing the flash mob in schools, kindergartens, playgrounds, or squares throughout the country. Last year, the map included over 60 entries across the Czech Republic. The music for this year's flash mob will be provided by Matěj Ruppert and the band Monkey Business, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2025. So we can look forward to a truly energetic show.

The fourth edition of the Vyshyvanka Day festival invites everyone who wants to glimpse into the heart of Ukrainian culture – through the tastes of home, craftsmanship mastery, traditional musical performances, and the beauty of hand-embroidered folk costumes that carry stories passed down from generation to generation. A day full of meeting, sharing, and joy will begin at 11:00 AM and last until 10:00 PM. Admission to the event is voluntary.
The Kutná Hora Gallery GASK will come alive with music.
Kutná Hora will be the venue for the A Day of Sound festival on Saturday, June 14, 2025, organized this year by the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region (GASK) as part of the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the city's inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The festival will connect music and visual arts in the spaces of three historical sites – the Jesuit college, the Chapel of the Body of Christ, and St. James' Church. Visitors can expect concerts of both old and contemporary music, audiovisual performances, sound and art-filled walks, as well as music workshops for children. A special space will be dedicated to a "sound cinema" in the baroque pharmacy of the Jesuit college and a site-specific video projection in St. James' Church.
