Record line-up? Beats for Love 2025 pushes the boundaries of the possible

This year's edition of Beats for Love, which will take place in Dolní Vítkovice from July 2 to 5, will bring to Ostrava a line-up that is unprecedented in the festival's history. This year, more than 150 foreign headliners will perform on 18 stages. However, within an already full program, the program director for this year's edition has managed to achieve the nearly impossible.

Axwell, one of the key figures of the legendary Swedish House Mafia, will perform in Ostrava for the first time after years of negotiations, right on the main stage Love by ČSOB, where he will energize the crowds with his unmistakable sound that has shaped modern house music. Armin van Buuren, a global icon of the trance scene, brings his monumental set to Dolní Vítkovice, promising a hypnotic journey across genres and emotions. For the first time in the festival's history, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – the best DJ duo in the world from Belgium, which dominates main stages from Tomorrowland to Ultra Music Festival – will also be present. Their sets are synonymous with massive energy, fire, and unstoppable shows. The showman Timmy Trumpet will fly in from Australia, transforming EDM into unexpected forms with his lively performances featuring live trumpet solos, turning the stage into absolute chaos in the best sense of the word. Fans of the drum & bass genre will be thrilled by the performance of Sub Focus, one of the most respected producers in the scene, whose sets regularly "destroy" stages across Europe. "We have added the best current house DJ according to the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll, Claptone, and the American legend MK to the line-up of Harmony House Square by Evropa 2," adds the festival's program director Jiří Ramík. The festival has also announced the headliner packages for individual stages, which include additional foreign artists. This completes the list of foreign names and simultaneously reveals the complete list of all international stars.

World premieres and revolutionary live shows

Beats for Love will inscribe itself in the history of the global electronic scene in 2025 with several projects that demonstrate that Beats for Love has long surpassed the boundaries of the classic festival format. It is becoming a stage for unique premieres and a global platform for exceptional projects.

One of the most ambitious points of this year's program will be the world premiere of the unique project A.M.C & Koven, which is not only a unique moment for the festival but also an extraordinary musical event on a global level. A.M.C is considered one of the best talents in the drum & bass world, and his sets are fast, precise, and uncompromising. Koven, a project by producer Max Rowat and charismatic singer Katie Boyle, has gained fans across genres with its unique combination of melodic dubstep, liquid drum & bass, and emotive vocals. Their live performances hover on the edge of euphoria and melancholy, often reminiscent of rock band concerts due to the energy and rawness of the performance.

At Beats for Love, these two worlds will collide in a completely new, unheard form. It will be a live show that combines the DJ precision of A.M.C with the vocal power and visual show of Koven. "This premiere was created specifically for the festival in Dolní Vítkovice and will not be possible to experience anywhere else – not in London, not in Berlin, or at Tomorrowland. Sometimes you come across a combination that makes immediate sense. We knew right away that it would be something extraordinary. When we also found out that the premiere would be with us, it was a powerful moment," explains Ramík.

Another iconic novelty will be a live show that will push the boundaries of electronic music. Used:Live, a new project by Belgian producer Used, combines original samples, synthesizers, and live instruments. The result is a raw, dynamic set that connects club energy with concert intensity. Additionally, the popular Apashe will return to Ostrava this year with his entirely new live show accompanied by a live brass orchestra. "The combination of powerful orchestral music with electronic beats creates a strong and unforgettable experience that has no equal in festival performances," adds Ramík.

Beats for Love Universe: A festival universe that will engulf you

This year's festival will not only be about music – it will be about discovering new worlds. The new concept Beats for Love Universe divides the area into three unique spheres – Love, Space, and Industrial – connected by the energetic artery Pulse. "We have worked a lot this year on how the entire area feels as a whole. We addressed every detail, from scenography, lighting installations, to visual elements, as well as the style of performers, decorations, and interactive zones. Each part of the area has its own character, colors, mood, and direction. We want everyone to find their own, whether they came for the rave atmosphere, visual experience, or just to disconnect for a few hours from the daily hustle," says Kamil Rudolf, the founder and director of the festival.

Techno Dome by Proud and a new dimension of electronics

Techno lovers should prepare for an unforgettable experience. Techno Dome by Proud is undergoing a radical transformation this year. The stage will gain its own identity – a new design, a new space, and, above all, a significantly higher budget. "In the techno scene, we want to create an environment that is not just about music, but about the overall atmosphere, deep experience, and sensory immersion," explains production director Martin Polach. The techno stage will draw from a brand new visual identity. Visitors can expect a combination of lights, smoke, and laser projections that will transform the space into a pulsating digital temple.

This year, true legends of the techno genre will head to Ostrava. Richie Hawtin, an icon of minimal techno, will present his live show, which breaks down rhythm to the last atom. His sets are an experiment, a challenge, and a ritual. The line-up will also feature other techno kings such as Ben Klock, DJ Rush, or the true legend Chris Liebling, who promise uncompromising BPM loads from dusk till dawn.

Beats for Love rewrites the history of electronic music

Beats for Love 2025 is not just another edition of the largest electronic festival in Central Europe. It is a clear signal that Ostrava is becoming a place where new musical formats are born, where world premieres arise directly on stage, and where music transforms into an unforgettable experience. Live shows, global collaborations, premieres, and a sophisticated visual world make Beats for Love a festival of the new generation. If you want to be at a place where the history of electronic music is being rewritten, you should not miss this event this year.
