Come to the Náprstek Museum to enjoy a unique family event designed for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or other adults responsible for the smallest children from birth to five years old. While engaging presentations about the fascinating cultures of Australia and Oceania are prepared for adults, children can enjoy thematic activities tailored to their young age. They can try dot painting, color pictures of local animals, preschoolers can practice fine motor skills with simple tasks, and everyone, regardless of age, can touch natural materials, replicas of exhibited items, or try out some Oceanic musical instruments. Enjoy a cultural experience and fun in a safe and stimulating environment where children will discover how a museum actually works. We embrace everything that makes children children. Sitting on the floor, climbing, and babbling are allowed!

The aviation museum in Kunovice acquired a new aircraft for its collection at the end of March. It is the HM-14 machine nicknamed Pou-du-Ciel, or Heavenly Flea. "It was a kind of predecessor to today's ultralight aircraft. People built Heavenly Fleas at home in the 1930s and 1940s according to a book guide. Anyone with a bit of skill could manage it," says the museum director Martin Hrabec about it.
