The exhibition of Japanese artist Komori Fumio and visual artist Olga Yakubovskaya connects two worlds in their works. Both artists are inspired by Japanese culture and the changing of the seasons. Everything – from food to hair ornaments – follows the principle of seasonality, which is especially true for Kyoto, the cultural metropolis of Japan. Painter Komori Fumio, who creates using the traditional technique of ink painting on wet paper (sumi-e), hails from there. Olga Yakubovskaya visited Japan in 2016, when she first got to know the local culture more closely.
