Sonic the Hedgehog is a video game legend and thanks to two successful films, he has also made his mark among the stars of the silver screen. After managing to save the entire planet and his friends from the all-powerful villain Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey), he could take a permanent vacation. However, that would not be possible if there wasn't a secret government program labeled "Project Shadow" (so old that even Robotnik's grandfather worked on it). Its result was the creation of Sonic's evil twin, a creature with incredible strength and the ability to teleport. And this troublemaker is now going after our beloved blue hedgehog. When Sonic realizes that Shadow is beyond his capabilities, he decides to team up with someone he would never normally join forces with – Dr. Robotnik.
