People incredulously pulled out their phones and took pictures of the strange pedestrian, who transformed the historical monument into the backdrop of a sci-fi film with his presence.
Behind this otherworldly apparition was Dutch acrobat Michiel Tange van Leeuwen, an artist known for his visually stunning creations that transcend the boundaries of circus, performance, and acrobatics. He came to Prague to participate in the rehearsals of a new project The Saturn Revue, which will revitalize the space of Nová Spirála starting in September.
In the performance, he will portray one of the central characters – and it seems that even his first steps around the city hinted that people can look forward to an encounter with a being that appears to come from another world.
