For the 21st time, friends and lovers of ceramics and artistic crafts will meet here to celebrate the most beautiful holidays of the year together. Come and choose Christmas gifts for your loved ones, in the form of the best handcrafted products. Every year, 150 artisans look forward to meeting you, coming to Prague from various regions of the country and abroad to present a rich selection of tasteful and valuable gifts. You will once again find inspiration and a pre-Christmas atmosphere, with a selection of the best folk, traditional, and contemporary modern crafts. You will truly enjoy the Advent season and the preparations for the most beautiful holidays of the year with us. At our markets under the HT Beroun brand, you will mainly find author ceramics and porcelain, but other crafts will also present themselves in full beauty. Glassmakers, blacksmiths, carpenters, weavers, jewelry makers, knitting, wiring, wood carving, indigo printing, patchwork, handmade toy sewing, bag makers, basket weavers, soaps and cosmetics, rustling, gingerbread makers, Christmas ornaments, and decorations that will add a festive charm to your home. And all of this directly from the authors, so you will also support local artisans who put their heart and soul into their work. This event is also a great opportunity to meet with friends and family in a pleasant atmosphere full of Christmas spirit. Whether you are looking for inspiration or relaxation, the markets will offer you both. The Christmas atmosphere will also be enhanced by stalls with refreshments. There will be a stylish tea room with seating, mulled wine, hot punch, mead, lemonade, and beer. For a bite, there will be sweet and savory langos, pancakes, traditional strudels, donuts, gingerbread, and roasted nuts. For those with bigger appetites, there will be larger portions of Czech and international cuisine, old Czech potatoes, shashlik, halušky, Christmas soups, homemade smash burgers, wraps with pulled meat, hot dogs, Jiaozi Heaven - homemade Chinese dumplings, and many other delicacies that can also be purchased as possible gifts under the tree. Loose tea, organic lemonades and syrups, jams, chocolate, selected wines in gift packaging, and liqueurs. AGNES spirits are always truly natural distillates made only from the fruit that the spirit carries in its name, noble yeasts, and the best water... You will taste bottom-fermented Pilsner-type beers from Dráteník and will surely not resist drinking a few bottles at home. To enhance your Christmas comfort, a children's ensemble Vrbina and a children's ensemble Rolnička will sing and dance for you by the tea room and the Christmas tree. We will invite children to outdoor puppet mini fairy tales from a traveling stall from the Jizera Mountains. The Christmas performance "Jizerské zázraky" will be played several times during the markets by two wandering actors from the Prague collective TMEL. On Saturday evening, you can look forward to a singer, guitarist, composer, and founder of the Prague rock'n'roll band Screwballs, which was a pioneer of the rockabilly style in our country in the 90s. Frankie Trier, accompanied by double bassist Martin Poka (ex Mordors Gang), will play Christmas carols in the style of Elvis Presley, and some rock'n'rolls will surely ring out to warm you up and get your blood flowing in the cold weather. Admission is, as always, free and barrier-free.
