Courage! The 27th edition of Designblok will take place from October 7 to 12, 2025, in Prague.
The Prague International Design Festival Designblok, held in the creative heart of Europe, is the largest exhibition of design and fashion in Central and Eastern Europe. The six-day festival starts with a day dedicated to professionals (Professional Day) and continues with a five-day showcase for the public, presenting innovations from more than two hundred carefully selected creators, studios, and prominent brands. In curated exhibitions, the festival responds to current social issues, highlights the work of both young and established designers, and provides a creative, professional, and business platform where designers and companies meet with professionals, suppliers, and target customers. The exhibitions are complemented by a rich accompanying program of lectures and discussions, industry meetings, fashion shows, and other special events that provide space for networking and mutual inspiration. Designblok is visited annually by over 41,000 people, including designers, curators, buyers, architects, interior designers, journalists, and design enthusiasts.

The Beats for Love festival is entering a new decade with a completely new concept - a revolutionary design transformation called Beats for Love Universe, which will elevate the experience of visitors to a whole new level. The largest Czech open-air festival not only brings a world-class lineup but also innovations in comfort, safety, and a completely new artistic and design appearance of the venue. This ambitious vision was presented by the organizers at a press conference at the ČSOB SHQ headquarters in Prague.
Thawing of reptiles at Prague Zoo
Zoo Prague has begun to awaken its hibernating residents from their dormancy (similar to mammalian hibernation). Despite the outdoor temperatures, the zoo is fully preparing for spring, and the keepers are gradually filling the exhibits of reptiles and amphibians. After several months of hiatus, all the inhabitants of the Terrarium pavilion and the recently opened Gobi exhibit are now on display – including the legendary "olgoj chorchoj," a Tatar sand boa. In the desert terrarium Kattakum in the Pavilion of Carnivores and Reptiles, passionate courtship has begun among the lizards, and the Indian gharials have started eating fish again after their winter break.

It transforms traditional circus performances into a complex work of art that combines acrobatics, theater, dance, music, and sometimes even multimedia elements. Unlike the classical circus, you will not find acts with trained animals; instead, it focuses exclusively on human abilities, creativity, and emotions. Performances, which often contain deeper messages in addition to great acrobatics and precise choreography, attract millions of visitors around the world.

How much do technologies dominate their users? This is the question explored by the exhibition Poetics of Encryption, which you can visit at the Rudolfinum Gallery starting February 13. The project, curated by the renowned curator Nadim Samman, will also feature the involvement of Samsung Electronics as the gallery's technological partner.

The sixth edition of the Comic-Con Prague festival announces more legends of the television screen. Fans can also look forward to representatives from Stargate and Terminator. The festival will take place from April 11 to 13, 2025, at the O2 Universe in Prague.
