The film follows legendary secret service agents George Woodhouse (Michael Fassbender) and his beloved wife Kathryn (Cate Blanchett). When Kathryn becomes a suspect of treason, George faces a difficult test: whether to remain loyal to his wife or his country.
In the film Operation Black Bag, which boasts a critically acclaimed cast, Oscar winner Cate Blanchett (Tears of Jasmine, Carol), Oscar-nominated Michael Fassbender (The Agency), Pierce Brosnan (Gangland), Primetime Emmy® nominee Regé-Jean Page (Bridgerton), BAFTA® award winner Marisa Abela (Back to Black, Sector), Tom Burke (Furiosa: The Saga of Mad Max), and Oscar-nominated Naomie Harris (Moonlight, Skyfall) star in leading roles.
The screenplay for the film was written by David Koepp (Mission: Impossible, Jurassic Park).
