Powerful stories and great names of Polish cinema
One of the main guests of this year's edition will be Jan Englert, a legend of Polish theater and film, who will personally present the film "Crossroad (Skrzyżowanie)" in Prague. Another significant highlight of the program is the premiere of the drama "Sweet Home (Dom dobry)" by director Wojciech Smarzowski, which opens the theme of domestic violence hidden behind the facade of an orderly life.
Director and writer Marta Dzido will present the documentary "Solidarity According to Women (Solidarność według kobiet)", dedicated to the heroines of the Polish dissent. The festival will also offer acclaimed new releases "Diary from a Trip to Budapest (Dziennik z wycieczki do Budapesztu)" by director Rafał Kapeliński and the film "Loss of Balance (Utrata równowagi)" by young creator Korek Bojanowski, which explores the relationship between power and talent in the environment of a film school.

Film, art, and a vibrant atmosphere
3Kino – Polish Film Festival Prague traditionally connects film with music, visual arts, and personal meetings with creators. This year, it will offer a restored screening of the silent film "The Organist at St. Vitus" (1929), accompanied by a live orchestra and the music of composer and conductor Jan Rybář. A unique moment of the festival will also be the documentary "Tamara Łempicka (The True Story of Tamara de Lempicka – The Art of Survival)", accompanied by a unique exhibition of the original painting Madonna from Montmartre, which will be on display in Prague for only a few hours.

In the passage of the U Nováků house, there will be an exhibition of film posters by students from Polish and Czech art schools, and at the same time, there will be a festival bar in Café Řehoře Samsy, where visitors can meet creators and other film enthusiasts.
Dialogue of cultures and generations
"3Kino – Polish Film Festival Prague is more than a festival. It is a living dialogue between people, cultures, and generations," says festival director Vavřinec Menšl. "From the original idea of a few film enthusiasts, it has become a respected celebration of film and culture over twelve years, connecting the audience with creators and opening a dialogue between the past and the present."
