The Crafts Day in Rybárna 2026 is here!
Arts & crafts, DIY, and the joy of creation. We are reopening our workshops to all small and big visitors under the motto: Everyone has craftsmanship in them, you just need to discover it! The traditional handmade festival on the waterfront is back after a year, inviting everyone who is not afraid to engage their hands and mind. PROGRAM 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM Creative workshops with the expert supervision of friendly instructors. At each station, you will be able to rotate and try out multiple workshops throughout the afternoon. Capacity is limited, and reservations in advance are not possible – first come, first served! You can bring your own materials to the workshops, but there will be plenty available on site! 6:00 PM Musical reward for creativity. Relax, dance, and enjoy the summer vibe with DJ Blanchita. Individual stations: Make your own notebook. Fold your own notebook, sew it, and trim it to perfection. Use old papers that you are reluctant to throw away, or bring your own pictures and materials that are waiting for a new life. 〜 Recommended age: 10+ years 〜 Time requirement: 30 minutes - 1 hour. Table under the flower. From unnecessary materials from the workshops, you will create an original piece that will cozy up any room. You create according to your own vision, with the support of an instructor. Each piece is unique. 〜 Recommended age: 12+ years 〜 Time requirement: 1 hour. Upcycling clothing. Embroidery, repairs, and experiments with bleaching. Bring your unworn or damaged clothing and transform it into something you will want to wear again. You can also create your own patch. 〜 Recommended age: 10+ years 〜 Time requirement: 10 minutes - 1 hour. Jar from an old bottle. A fishing classic! From an old bottle, you will make a jar that you can decorate with hand engraving. "Cheers!" (If you bring your own bottle, make sure it is at least partly straight.) 〜 Recommended age: 8+ years 〜 Time requirement: 30 minutes. Children's corner. A space for the smallest creatives with simple artistic activities. 〜 Recommended age: 1-4 years and parental assistance! Entry to the event and individual workshops is free. In case of bad weather, the event will move to the shared workshops SI in Rybárna. This event was made possible by the kind financial support of the City of Prague.
