Rumfest 2026: The largest Caribbean rum party in Central Europe is returning to Prague.

Rumfest 2026: The largest Caribbean rum party in Central Europe is returning to Prague.

On Saturday, May 23, Prague will once again transform into a center of Caribbean atmosphere, music, dance, and rum for the fourteenth time. Rumfest - Caribbean Festival 2026, the largest rum festival of its kind in Central Europe, is now among the respected European events that regularly attract brands, ambassadors, and visitors from various corners of the world.

New edition

This year's summer edition will be even more about the experience as a whole — not just about tasting, but mainly about the atmosphere of the Caribbean in the heart of Prague at Holešovice's Vnitroblock.

Visitors can expect a live Cuban band with a singer, a Latino DJ, dance performances, and a Latino dance school where complete beginners as well as experienced dancers can try out the steps. The festival will also feature Caribbean specialties, chill zones, a cigar area, and freshly pressed sugar cane juice brought from Costa Rica.

This year, cocktails will also play a significant role — alongside classic tastings, special rum cocktail bars with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be prepared.

And of course, rum itself will not be missing. Dozens of brands from around the world will arrive at the festival, along with seminars and guided tastings, including special masterclasses with the legendary ambassador Ian Burrell. The rich seminar program includes over eight lectures and masterclasses — from the introduction of a limited edition coffee liqueur Gloria Single Origin Jamaica to presentations of brands like Savanna, Hampden Estate, Ron Centenario, and Diplomático, as well as the first public tasting of Czech rum from Landcraft Distillery. Paid masterclasses (capacity of 15 places) will offer exclusive tastings worth from 1,290 CZK. The complete program is available at www.rumfest.cz.

The star guest of this year's edition is Ian Burrell, the global ambassador of rum and founder of the London UK RumFest — one of the most influential rum events in the world. Ian is considered one of the most significant figures in rum culture: he has collaborated with global brands, lectured at festivals from the Caribbean to Asia, and with his approach — combining deep knowledge with an engaging presentation — has introduced thousands of new enthusiasts to rum. At Rumfest 2026, he will lead three events: the lecture History of Rum in 10 Cocktails, a VIP rum tour in a small group, and an exclusive masterclass The Art of Rum focused on vintage and single cask rums.

Thus, Rumfest today is not only an event for experienced rum enthusiasts but also a place where people come for music, atmosphere, new flavors, and a pleasant summer day with friends.

The festival is open from 12:00 to 21:00. Tickets are on sale on the Goout platform. More information and the complete program can be found at www.rumfest.cz.
