The festival will take place at the central square of Metropole Zličín, and in addition to a rich accompanying program, it will also offer inspiration in the field of beauty and relaxation, from fragrant tastings and tea sales to cosmetics and relaxing Thai massages. There will also be inspiring guests and powerful travel stories. On Saturday, visitors can look forward to participants from the Asia Express show, the duo Chicas, who will share their experiences from traveling and the competition itself. On Sunday, traveler Tomáš Vejmola, known as Tomík on the road, will arrive with his iconic tuk-tuk, with which he traveled halfway around the world, and will share stories from his adventurous expeditions.

“We have long strived for our center to be not just a place for shopping, but also for meeting, inspiration, and experiences. We have prepared the Asian Days to connect traditional and modern elements of Asia and offer a program that families with children, younger visitors, and fans of gastronomy or pop culture will find appealing. Our goal is to create an authentic environment where visitors can momentarily find themselves in Asia,” says Kateřina Kleslová, marketing manager of Metropole Zličín.

The festival will kick off in grand style with the best that Asia has to offer
Everything will start on Friday, May 15, at 4:00 PM with a festive parade that will introduce the entire festival in grand style and bring the energy of Asian celebrations to the shopping center. This will be followed by a program featuring the Dragon Dance and a demonstration of the Chinese martial arts Wushu & Kungfu, which will symbolically kick off the entire weekend. The program will be hosted by Trang Do Thu, known as Asijatka – a blogger, influencer, and author of the book Asijatka in the Czech Republic. Additionally, interested parties will be able to sign up for a matcha workshop that will introduce the history of this drink and the technique of its proper preparation. The highlight of Friday's program will be the Lion Dance, a traditional performance associated with happiness and prosperity, which will enhance the festive atmosphere of the entire opening.

Special workshops are prepared exclusively for members of the Metropole Zličín loyalty club, so it is worthwhile to remember the simple registration, which will give you access not only to the festival but also to year-round benefits. As members of the Metropole Zličín loyalty club, you can also participate in the big Receipt Competition from May 11 to 31, where everyone really wins. Attractive prizes include a trip for two to the exotic island of Hainan in China worth 50,000 CZK from the Czech travel agency Invia, a Dyson stick vacuum, a Xiaomi mobile phone, a gift package from the Rituals brand worth 10,000 CZK, or gift cards worth 5,000 CZK and other prizes.
