PURO GELATO: Fresh artisan gelato in Prague made with natural ingredients

At Jungmannovo Náměstí, just in front of the E4 Můstek subway exit, you will find the entrance to our new gelateria. PURO Gelato (established in 2014) is a family business with the goal of delivering amazing gelato made with only natural ingredients, local supplies and artisanal excellence.

New edition

Our gelato is made fresh every day in the store and is free from preservatives or artificial stabilizers. Our ingredient selections reflect the care and love we take with all our products. We source our citruses from Sicily, juice them fresh in the store, mix the gelato in front of your eyes and serve it for you as fresh as you can find anywhere in Prague. On our own farm we grow gooseberries—the berries of our grandmothers’ times—which ripen at the end of June. Every year we harvest approximately 100-400 kg of this incredible berry for gelato production. If you happen to be in Prague the first 2 weeks of July, be sure to take the opportunity to taste the unique flavor of a gooseberry sorbetto, which you can find nowhere else.

With 24 to 32 flavors to choose from every day, you will find a taste to delight and surprise you. Our gelato selection includes Belgian 72% dark chocolate, Madagascar vanilla, Piemont nuts, local walnuts, local poppy and cheesecake with a currant ripple made from currants from our own farm.

All our gelatos, those not containing any biscuit, are gluten free, all sorbettos are vegan.

At our shops you can choose between specialty coffee and the traditional Italian espresso roast we love. Our pastry chef Paula also prepares a wide range of modern Italian patisserie everyone can choose from. We specialize in gluten free cakes and we also have low carb options. If you seek an authentic Pražák experience, you can visit our shop at the riverbank in Výtoň, but be prepared to line up on sunny days as it is very popular among the locals.
