Once a month, we open the aviation museum to the public.
Open Days Every second Saturday of the month, every other month from March to December, we hold open days at the hangar, where visitors can see an extensive exhibition of airworthy exhibits. Entry is free, and during the open days, it is possible to purchase souvenirs. The open day is organized by the owners of the aircraft that are hangared at our airport, pilots, and members of the aviation community of Točná. This is not an airshow, but an open day at the hangar. We kindly ask visitors to limit car arrivals and not to park on access roads to the airport, only on the shoulder to keep the roads passable. These roads are the only access for emergency services. Thank you! For travel to/from the airport, besides by car, you can use: 1) Uber, Bolt, or another taxi service 2) Bus from Cholupice (Bus stop "Zálužická" - 277, 341) or Komořany (Bus stop "Komořany" - 139, 117, 165) and walk from the stop according to the map.
At Prague Zoo, offspring of three species of snakes that had not previously bred here have come into the world. For the first time, two hatchlings of the recently discovered northern Australian python were born for science. The remaining species are live-bearing – a total of ten baby snakes were born to a female brown boa, an endemic species from Madagascar. The third reptile being bred for the first time is an underground inhabitant of Asian sand dunes: a female Tatar python delighted her keepers with four offspring.
