The movement satire is loosely inspired by the personality of journalist Ivana Svobodová, whose "mission" took her to the living room of a retiree who wanted to save "our little country" and thus became "the first Czech terrorist": "It will catch your attention that someone cuts down trees, wants to derail a train, and pretends to be a Muslim." In "Czech Hero," the political intertwines with the intimate, the public with the personal. It is about the bonds we create with one another, no matter how foreign we are to each other. About relationships in a society of conflicting opinions; about what we are willing to do for the world we want to live in.
