„I am very pleased that we will be able to welcome Amanda Tapping in Prague, who is not only an iconic face of Stargate but also a respected actress and director. She has been involved in a number of successful projects. Her participation is a great honor for us and the fans,“ says Pavel Renčín, marketing director of Active Radio, the main organizer of the event.
„Each year of Comic-Con brings new experiences. We want to provide fans with an even richer program and bring in more big names. In addition to Amanda Tapping, they can also look forward to meetings with the actresses from the sci-fi series Alien: Earth, Diêm Camille and Sandra Yi Sencindiver,” adds Václav Pravda, program director of the festival.
Diêm Camille is not only an actress but also writes scripts and directs – she has received awards at several festivals for directing, writing, and starring in the short film Doll. She is also known from the series The Wheel of Time and Alex Rider. Sandra Yi Sencindiver, known for series like Foundation and The Wheel of Time, is among the rising stars of contemporary genre creation. Both actresses have been long-term residents of Denmark.
The literary section will be enriched by leading Czech comic book authors, including Petr Kopl, known mainly for his comic adaptations of Victorian literature, Dan Černý, creator of the iconic character Fanouš, and Nikkarin, whose unique style has gained a number of readers. They will bring not only their latest works but also a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of contemporary Czech comic creation.
The festival will traditionally offer a diverse array of activities – discussions with actors and other guests, autograph sessions and photo opportunities, workshops, competitions, and additional fan programs. There will also be an extensive gaming area and a popular board game area, cosplay competitions, and a special program dedicated to series, comics, and books, as well as an exhibition of Star Wars filled with models of technology – from robots to spaceships.
Comic-Con Prague 2026 will take place from March 13 to 15, 2026, at the Prague O₂ universe. Tickets will be on sale from October 10 on the event website and through Ticketmaster and Ticketportal. Discounted prices are valid until November 3, 2025.
