The exhibition is divided into two parts. One focuses on the development of the city, architecture, industry, and technological progress, while the other focuses on nature, human emotions, and individual freedom. The title + - Zlín symbolizes the coexistence of these opposites – rationality and emotion, order and spontaneity, or mass and individuality.
The right part of the exhibition presents the cultural history of Zlín, the phenomenon of Zlín salons, the architecture of the city, and industrial design. Works by famous Czech artists such as Bohumil Kubišta, Josef Čapek, Jindřich Štyrský, and Toyen, as well as many other authors, are on display. There are also models of iconic Zlín buildings and design objects from various decades, along with presentations of key figures such as Vincenc Makovský, Zdeněk Kovář, and František Crhák.

The left part of the exhibition is dedicated to fine arts. It focuses on the landscape as a source of inspiration and a reflection of human experiences, as well as the transformations in the depiction of the human subject, identity, and deeper perception of reality.
The exhibition is complemented by modern interactive elements, including a mobile immersive application. Thanks to audio recordings, videos, animations, and virtual content, visitors can explore the exhibited works in new ways, observe the transformations of Zlín over time, or learn more about the authors and their creations.
