A magnificent spectacle that commemorates the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in the attractive setting of Prague's riverbanks.
You can look forward to a full-day program full of dynamic demonstrations, military technology, and unique experiences. The event is held under the auspices of the Minister of Defense, the Mayor of Prague, the Mayor of Prague 2, and Prague 5. The most impressive tactical maneuvers, such as paratroopers jumping from a helicopter into the Vltava River or special forces rappelling onto a pontoon, will take place directly on the surface of the Vltava between the Railway Bridge and the Palacký Bridge. The airspace will be dominated not only by helicopters but also by fighter jets and other military aircraft. Military technology will be on display on both banks of the Vltava. You will have the opportunity to closely examine the modern armored vehicle TITUS, the DANA howitzer, the Pandur armored personnel carrier, the Kajman light combat vehicle, the armored ambulance, special vehicles of military chemists, and other military equipment. For military history enthusiasts, there will be anti-aircraft guns, the Canadian tracked vehicle WINDSOR CARRIER Mk. I, and the GAZ AA truck. The program will be enriched by the Military Police, the Castle Guard, the Honor Guard, Military Intelligence, and the Active Reserve. For those interested in a military career, presentations from military schools will be prepared. Those considering a career as a professional soldier or in the active reserve will be able to meet representatives from the recruitment center and try out physical tests. You will also have the chance to meet Olympic athletes from the Army Sports Center Dukla. The program will be complemented by the POKOS project, and there will also be authentic military goulash. State-owned enterprises established by the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic will present Military Forests and Estates, LOM Prague, VOP CZ, and the Military Technical Institute.
